Always store the wash bucket without a lid. Avoid prolonged standing times with the lid closed – especially in the vehicle. Depending on the outside temperature, temperatures of up to 40–60 °C can develop there, which can deform the plastic and impair its function.
This also applies to cellars, garages or similar places: Temperature fluctuations can create a vacuum in the bucket.
The lid is only intended for safe water transport to the car wash box and prevents splashing – not suitable for storage.
